GARNET RHODOLITE

Rhodolite Garnet is a unique gemstone found in Brazil, India, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand and the USA (North Carolina). The name "rhodolite" comes from the Greek word "Rhodon", meaning rose, and is applied to a mixture of almandine and pyrope.

Rhodolite is light or dark violet red, reddish purple, and all shades between red and violet. The mix of red and violet in rhodolites is very attractive, and red-purple is the most requested color. Rhodolite is transparent, often free of inclusion, and has a stunning luster due to its high refractive index. The excellent hardness of 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale makes garnet suitable for all types of jewelry.

Rhodolite is a popular gem in jewelry due to its color and brilliance. It is commonly used in rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

Additionally, rhodolite is considered by many cultures to be a source of inspiration and emotional renewal. This crystal is believed to encourage kindness, love, compassion, and promote self-knowledge, self-esteem, and spiritual growth.
